Jack and Denise Nedley of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Brenda and James Emery of Newnan, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Kay Nedley of Brownsville, to Jeff D. Pikulsky, son of Richard and Shirley Pikulsky of Uniontown. Nedley is the granddaughter of William and Ruth Ann Zubricky of Newell and Wayne and Peg Nedley of Fredericktown and the great-granddaughter of Esther Storey of Weirton, W.Va.

She is a graphic designer in the Corporate Communications Department of AmeriNet Central in Warrendale. She earned bachelor’s degrees in 1999 in communications and graphic design from Chatham College in Pittsburgh. She is a 1995 graduate of Brownsville Area High School.

Pikulsky is the grandson of Julia Sible of Uniontown.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Penn State University in 1998 and is currently employed as a staff writer at The Valley Independent Newspaper in Monessen. He is a 1993 graduate of Uniontown Area High School.

The couple will wed on Aug. 17 at St. Therese Parish, Uniontown.
