Bible Alliance Church, West Newton, was the setting for the marriage of Kelly Evone Vargo of Grindstone and David Allan Redman, also of Grindstone. Pastor Frank Todaro officiated the July 21 ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Georgette Fike of Grindstone and the late Robert Anthony Vargo. Parents of the bridegroom are Donald and Donna Redman of Fayette City and the late Bunny Sue Redman.

Given in marriage by her uncle, Larry Strauch, the bride wore a gown with portrait neckline adorned with beaded Schiffli lace. It was detailed with beaded appliques on the bodice and sheer sleeves and ending in a beaded lace cathedral train. A beaded tiara held a veil of illusion.

Tracy Smith, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim Redman, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Pamela Urban, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Lori Boyza, Susie Battaglini and Danielle McClelland. Junior bridesmaid was Samantha Moon, cousin of the bridegroom. Hillary Redman, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Best man was Barry Armel. Groomsmen were Jeff Redman, Marty Urban and Don Redman, brothers of the bridegroom; and Tom Brown and Jeff Koontz. Junior groomsman was Donnie Redman, nephew of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Harold Wyse III, nephew of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at the Jewish Community Center, Uniontown.

The bride graduated from Brownsville Area High School and is employed at New Salem Pharmacy.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Frazier High School and is employed at Emerald Mine.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Canada.

They are residing in Grindstone.
