The following people were recently sentenced in Fayette County Court. Sentences for driving under the influence (DUI) involve a period of license suspension and generally require participation in the county’s Alcohol Safe Driving School and participation in the Ignition Interlock Program once the license is returned. Judge John F. Wagner Jr.

John Edward Pilato, 29, of Scottdale was sentenced to 30 days in Fayette County Prison for possession of marijuana.

Joseph Paul Volek, 20, of Uniontown was sentenced to 23 months of Intermediate Punishment with the first 180 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring. He was also ordered to make restitution of $66.66 to Kathy Shoupe of Brownsville and $533.81 to Allstate Insurance Company of Charleroi. The sentence will run concurrently, for attempted forgery.

William Theodore Guseman II, 36, of Smock was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Howard Leslie Layhue Jr., 27, of Fairchance was sentenced to two counts of DUI. On the first, he was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison and ordered to make restitution of $300 to Scott Piper of Fairchance and $1,900 to Lakeland Insurance Co. On the second, he was sentenced to Intermediate Punishment for 23 months with the first 60 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring. The sentences will run consecutively.

Ronald Keith Hall Jr., 23, of New Stanton was sentenced to three to 12 months, the first 28 days as an inpatient at White Deer Run Treatment Facility, for possession. He was also sentenced to one to six months in Fayette County Prison with the sentence to run consecutively for retail theft.

Brian Lee McCollum, 31, of Uledi was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Marshall Earl Shaw, 31, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to six to 12 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Joseph Michael Pintavalle, 34, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months and make restitution of $1,260.87 to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for DUI.

John Eugene Linko, 64, of Leisenring was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Ashley Alonzo Merida, 22, of Duquesne was sentenced on two counts of possession and received one year probation on each count, sentences to run consecutively.

John Jehew Vaught, 29, of Smithfield was sentenced to 60 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for possession.

Raymond Tucker Bellamy, 30, of Connellsville was sentenced to five to 10 years in a State Correctional Institution and make restitution of $8,179.22 to Crime Victims Compensation Fund and $72,317.47 to Socrates Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh for aggravated assault.

John Dale Bowser, 57, of Vanderbilt was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison with the sentence to run concurrently for DUI.

Megan Elizabeth Angelone, 22, of Republic was sentenced to one year probation for retail theft.

Earl Neal Moorman, 60, of Uniontown was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Kenneth Wayne Rhodes, 35, of Dunbar was sentenced to nine to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for receiving stolen property.

John Ernest Ruby, 23, of Connellsville was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison with the sentence to run consecutively for fleeing or attempting to elude officers.

Norman Richter Izzo, 31, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to three to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for retail theft.

Morris Edwin Earquhart Jr., 30, of Uniontown was sentenced to six to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for disorderly conduct.

Ricky Fosbrink, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to two years probation for retail theft.

James Carol Jordan, 34, of Connellsville was sentenced to three to 12 months in Fayette County Prison and ordered to make restitution of $9.99 to Nickman’s Drug Store, Lemont Furnace for retail theft.

Daniel Warren Frey, 22, of Uniontown was sentenced to two years probation for theft of leased property and another two years probation for theft of unlawful taking with the sentences to run concurrently.

Eric Charles Lentz, 43, of Mount Pleasant was sentenced to four to eight years in a state correctional institution for conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver and manufacture.

Terry Ray Asbury, 46, of Uniontown was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Amanda Dawn Thorpe, 22, of Uniontown was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment for forgery and two years probation for theft with the sentence to run consecutively. She was also sentenced to two years probation for burglary and one year probation for making false reports to law enforcement authorities.

Arthur Phillip Thomas, 55, of Uniontown was sentenced to 23 months of Intermediate Punishment, first 60 days served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.

Jerome Thomas Switsh Sr., 40, of Masontown was sentenced to one year probation and ordered to make restitution of $1,052.61 to Angelo Equipment of Perryopolis, for theft by unlawful taking.

Dwayne Everett Shipley, 44, of White was sentenced to two years probation for simple assault.

David Kent Burkholder, 46, of Dickerson Run was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Thomas Wayne Cook Jr., 31, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Aaron Kirk Clark, 27, of Morgantown, W.Va. was sentenced to two years probation for theft by failure to make required disposition fund.

Ronald Edward Friend, 37, of Smithfield was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Eddie Grant Burnsworth, 44, of Connellsville was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Brandon Robert Swaney, 22, of Smithfield was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

William Isaac Jeffries, 50, of Hopwood was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, first 120 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Gerald Davis Abbott II, 26, of Smock was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

David Kent Burkholder, 46, of Dickerson Run was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Erroll Terry Mossburg Jr., 40, of Dawson was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

David Allen Stull, 47, of Connellsville was sentenced to 23 months of Intermediate Punishment, first 120 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring for DUI.

Otha Joseph McGee Jr., 69, of Connellsville was sentenced to one to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for gambling devices.

Melissa Ann Lehman, 21, of Uniontown was sentenced to 23 months Intermediate Punishment, first 120 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring. She was ordered to make restitution of $33.33 to Kathy Shupe of Brownsville and $533.81 to Allstate Insurance Co. of Charleroi for attempted forgery.

Steven Douglas Lewis, 43, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison, a period of 93 days served at the Department of Veterans Affairs Homeless Domiciliary, Pittsburgh, making him eligible for immediate parole, for DUI.

John Michael Kemp, 31 of New Salem was sentenced to two years probation for hindering apprehension.

James Daniel Whoolery, 24, of Point Marion was sentenced to 40-80 months in a state correctional institution for aggravated assault.

Benjamin Arthur McCartney, 48, of Uniontown was sentenced to 15 to 30 months in a state correctional institution for theft by unlawful taking.

Brandon Patrick Vadella, 26, of Belle Vernon was sentenced to one to two years in a state correctional institution and ordered to make restitution of $420 to Belle Vernon State Police Vice Unit, for possession.

Allen Ray Yauger, 39, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to three to six years in a state correctional institution with the sentence to run concurrently for aggravated assault.

William Thomas Scott, 45, of Mount Pleasant was sentenced to one to two years in a state correctional institution and make restitution of $1,001.13 to Paul Orris and $1,402.74 to the Pennsylvania Medical Assistance, Harrisburg for robbery.

Donald Glenn Henry Jr., 34, of Connellsville was sentenced to two to 12 months in Fayette County Prison for possession.

Barry Wayne Bosley, 52, of Uniontown was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.

Corey Derrick Johnson, 23, of Uniontown was sentenced to six to 24 months in a state correctional institution for retail theft.
