Skovira-Guappone
United in marriage were Michelle Guappone and Eric Skovira, both of Uniontown. The Rev. Ken Zaccagnini and the Rev. Robert Ford officiated the nuptial ceremony on May 19 at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
The bride’s parents are Michael and Lorraine Guappone of Old Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown. The bridegroom’s parents are John and Sharon Skovira of Union Street, Uniontown.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.
Matron of honor was Lynn Fresca of Lexington, Ky. Maid of honor was Lisa Guappone of Morgantown, W.Va. Bridesmaids were Anita Kozel, Pittsburgh; Heidi Glagola, Uniontown; and Jen Wootton, Tampa, Fla. Brooklyn Shirer of Atlanta, Ga., was flower girl.
Dan Skovira of Uniontown was best man. Groomsmen were Mike Guappone of Rebersburg; Ken Kozel, State College; Steve Uhal, Georgetown, Del.; and Joe Shirer, Atlanta, Ga. Joseph Shirer from Atlanta, Ga., was ring bearer.
The reception was held at the Uniontown Country Club.
The bride graduated from California University with a bachelor of science degree in gerontology. She is employed in the law offices of Robert Goldman in Rockville, Md.
The bridegroom is also a graduate of California University with a bachelor of science degree in graphic communications and a master’s degree in business administration. He is employed at Ikon Office Solutions in Rockville.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Hilton Head Island, N.C.
They are living at 12518 Great Park Circle, No. 102, Germantown, Md.
