Charles Edward Travis, 58, of Point Marion, Pa., died suddenly in Huntingdon, Pa., on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002. Surviving are his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Cole Travis; the following children, Charles E. Travis II of Richmond, Va., Sandra Gail Travis McGee of Powhatan, Va., Darrell Edward Travis of Cumming, Ga., Todd Shepherd of Lockport, N.Y., Robin Stancil of Canton, Ga., and Tammie Littleton of Dawsonville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and four brothers, Harold M. Travis Jr., of Ambridge, Pa., Donald Travis of Fort Worth, Texas, James Travis of Hicksville, N.Y., and Albert Travis of Wilmington, N.C.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, 501 Morgantown St., Point, Marion, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Charles Travis Family.
