3 dead in Richhill homicide/suicide
RICHHILL TWP. – Three people are dead after an apparent double homicide and suicide Sunday, according to reports from Greene County Coroner Greg Rohanna. State police at Waynesburg said Ronald Lee Blair, 57, of Wind Ridge went to the residence of Bonnie Jean Nice, 54, of Holbrook when she arrived home with companion Lloyd Edward Grimm, 52, of Wind Ridge.
Police said a dispute between the three ensued around 3 p.m., resulting in their deaths. Nice and Grimm were found dead in the front yard of Nice’s Long Run Road home, and Blair was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in a detached garage next to the residence, police said.
Rohanna said that while he has done only preliminary examinations, all three apparently were shot with the same gun. He noted that Blair and Nice had once been married and that the nature of the argument apparently was based on her relationship with Grimm.
“Apparently, the husband shot his estranged wife, then her gentleman companion before killing himself. As yet, there are no official times of death,” Rohanna said.
He said he plans to conduct autopsies and offer full reports later today. Police also noted that their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
