Jennifer Anne Nethken of Carmichaels and Frederick Charles Clark Jr. of Carmichaels were united in marriage on June 1. The Rev. Peggy Scharff heard the exchange of marriage vows at the Diamond Temple United Methodist Church, Fairmont, W.Va.

The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Nethken and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boyce of Fairmont, W.Va. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clark of Third Avenue, Crucible.

Given in marriage by her father, Bobby Nethken, the bride wore a satin A-line gown with a beaded bodice and straps. An Australian crystal tiara held her veil of illusion.

Maid of honor was Melissa Nethken, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Ford, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Gabrielle Clark, niece of the bridegroom.

Best man was Michael Clark, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Ryan Ford, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Fred Clark Jr., son of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus in Fairmont.

The bride graduated from North Marion High School and Fairmont State College. She is a trainer at TeleTech, Uniontown.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and West Virginia Career College. He is a supervisor with TeleTech, Morgantown.

The couple honeymooned at Atlantic City, N.J.

They reside in Carmichaels.
