Theodore R. Zeigler

Theodore R. Zeigler, 63, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, in Mount Saint Macrina Manor. He was born July 3, 1939, in Altoona, Pa., the son of Edna Reigh Zeigler of Somerset, and the late Donald Zeigler.

He worked as an interior designer for Century Furniture in Scottdale, and then for Polito’s Carpet until his retirement.

Ted was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and served in the choir.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Margaret Christine Beavers Zeigler; a son, Theodore R. Zeigler Jr., and wife, Amy of Pittsburgh; four daughters, Susan Alves and husband, Robert of Goldsboro, N.C., Heather Ham and husband, Jamie of La Grange, N.C., Anecia Thibodeau of Pittsburgh, and Emilie Thibodeau of Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren, Lindsay and Timothy Zeigler and Alex and Aaron Alves; and two brothers, Edward and Joseph Zeigler, both of Somerset.

Arrangements are entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa. Friends will be received in the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church today from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., with Fr. Stanley Burdock officiating. The service will continue in St. Peter’s Episcopal Memorial Garden. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund or to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, 4 W. MUH (Room 420W), 200 Lothrop St., Pittsburgh, PA 15213 (On Check, write “In Memory of Ted Zeigler”).
