AG to hold registration
Albert Gallatin Area School District will hold registration for students who are transferring from a private school, have recently moved into the district or missed the kindergarten registration day and have not previously registered in the district. Registration will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the student’s respective elementary, middle or senior high school.
All students must bring a record of immunizations and a report card from last year. No student will be enrolled without immunization records. Kindergarten students must bring a birth certificate.
A parent or guardian must accompany each student.
The first day of school for Albert Gallatin students is Monday, Aug. 26.
Orientation will be held Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for kindergarten students and their parents If requested, bus transportation will be provided. Call Tony Tokish at 724-564-7192 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to arrange transportation.
Also, the district will hold an open house Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. for students in grade 6 who will be attending school in the old Masontown building, Windy Hill or Albert Gallatin South.
And, any sixth-grade student or students attending these schools for the first time are invited to attend this open house. They will have an opportunity to tour the building. Student schedules will not be available at this time.
