Betty Lou Anderson Fairfax, 64, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Uledi, Pa., died Sunday morning, Aug. 18, 2002, in Cleveland, Ohio, while visiting her brother. Betty was born Dec. 18, 1937, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Genevieve Lockette Anderson, and the late Laymon Anderson Sr.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blair Fairfax; and two sisters, Yvonne Lawrence and Genevieve Anderson Davis, who just preceded her in death 11 days ago, in Maryland.

Surviving are her mother, Genevieve Anderson of Uniontown; the following brothers and sisters, Laymon Jr., and wife, Audrey and Richard Anderson, all of Cleveland, Ohio, Norman Anderson and wife, Carolyn of Pittsburgh, Pa., William Anderson of McClellandtown, Pa., Marvin Anderson of Landover, Md., Owen Anderson and wife, Virginia of Hiller, Pa., Clinton Anderson of Uledi, Pa., Lorraine Tarpley of Uniontown, pa., and Phyllis Ramsey of North Hollywood, Calif.; and nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa., today from 5 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Owen Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Dickerson Run Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Pa.
