BAROTA, ROBERT – Friends will be received in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc., 106 East Independence St., Perryopolis, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m., in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, with the Rev. Fr. John T. Euker as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Perryopolis. A Wake Service will be held this evening at 8 p.m., in the funeral home. Graveside military rites will be accorded by VFW Goldstar Post No. 7023, and American Legion No. 752 of Perryopolis. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, Pittsburgh, PA, or Hospice, 722 Long Run Rd., McKeesport, PA 15132.
SHINAL, KATHRYN MARY (VARVA) – Friends will be received in the John S. Maykuth Jr., Funeral Home, corner of Church and River Aves., Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday at 10:45 a.m., when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary’s R.C. Church of Leckrone, at 11:15 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald Trexler as celebrant. Parish Wake Service will be held today at 8 p.m.
