Mildred Musar Miller, 77, of Newell, Pa., passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, in UPMC Pittsburgh. She was born March 31, 1925, in Newell, Pa., daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine Armaro Musar.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church of Newell, and the Christian Mothers of Newell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Miller Sr., on April 22, 1998.

She was the beloved mother of six children: She is survived by three sons, Charles Miller Jr., and wife, Linda of Sterling, Va., Frank Miller and wife, Amy of Belle Vernon, Pa., and Wayne Miller and wife, Lisa of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three daughters, Joann Brannen and husband, Truett of Duncanville, Texas, Louise Last and husband, David of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Toni Theakston and Steve Valari of Newell, Pa.; and two brothers, John Musar of Newell and Samuel Musar of Annapolis, Md. She was also the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday until 9:30 a.m., when a blessing service will take place, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon, with the Rev. Fr. Ronald Cyktor Jr., as celebrant. Entombment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. Visitation was also held on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, from 7 to 9 p.m.
