Ann Stefl
Ann Kokesh Stefl, 80, of Amend, Pa., died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002. She was born April 24, 1922, in Continental No. 3, Pa., daughter of the late John and Mary Kokesh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. (Babe) Stefl on May 8, 1979; one son, Robert A. (Bob) Stefl on Aug. 14, 1977; and two brothers, John Kokesh and Joseph Kokesh.
Surviving are one daughter, Diane Abraham and her husband, William B. Abraham of Fairchance, Pa.; three grandchildren, Eric W. Abraham of Fairchance, Pa., Tina Marshall of Irwin, Pa., and Tara Marshall of Uniontown, Pa.; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Jo Noble of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Nabozny of Uniontown, and Sue Hewitt of Croswell, Mich.; and two brothers, Steve Kokesh of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., and George Kokesh of Lake Elsinore, Calif.
Mrs. Stefl was retired from Masontown Manufacturing Company, where she was a presser for many years. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Flower Bowling League of Uniontown.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church St., Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Dr. Joey Hickok officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
