Anna Bobbish Liptak
Anna Bobbish Liptak, 88, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at her home. She was born January 14, 1914, in Messmore, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of John and Mary Bobbish.
Anna was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.
Her husband, Joseph “Andy” Liptak, three children, Barbara Ann, Monica Ann and Stephen Michael Liptak, a sister, Mary Varto, six brothers, Michael, Andy, John, Nick, Steve and Frank Bobbish, and her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters: Andrew Liptak and his wife, Rosalie, of Uniontown, Pa., Joseph Liptak of Bedford, Massachusetts, Nicholas Liptak and his wife, Janice, of Bitner, Pa., Barbara and her husband, Frank Berdar, and Donna and her husband, Don Stashick, all of Uniontown, Pa., and Kathy and her husband, Joe Suhar, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Kostek of Smithton, Pa.; and two brothers: Paul Bobbish and Charles Bobbish both of Uniontown.
At Anna’s request, there will be no viewing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, August 23, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
