James F. Cellurale Sr.
James F. Cellurale Sr., 86, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., passed away Monday evening, August 19, 2002, in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa. He was born May 6, 1916, in The Village of Macchiagodena, Province of Abbruzzi, Italy, the son of Maria DiFroscia Cellurale and Michele Cellurale.
James came to the United States with his mother in 1916 to be reunited with his father, who had immigrated to the United States.
He was an employee of Eureka Brick Works/Foseco from 1955 until his retirement in 1979. In addition, he was a Farmer and co-owner of Cellurale Pine Tree Plantation.
He was a kind and generous man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
His beloved wife, Clara V. Piccioni Cellurale, beloved son, Michael Cellurale, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his seven children: Mary Jane and her husband, John Orazi, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., Frances and her husband, John Miller, of Alexandria, Virginia, Theresa and her husband, Bill Cardine, of Ashburn, Virginia, James F. Cellurale Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., Albert Cellurale and his wife, Kathy, of Hopwood, Pa., Antionette and her husband, Jeff Kuhlman, of Evendale, Ohio, and Terry Cellurale and his wife, Gina, of Uniontown, Pa.; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Cellurale; and a sister, Lydia Rich.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, August 24, until 9:15 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Edward McCullough and Rev. Fr. Willie Lechner as Concelebrants.
Entombment will follow in Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
Parish Rosary will be recited on Friday at 4 p.m.
