Garland A. Wilkins, 83, of Addison, Pa., a Veteran of the United States Army who served from 1946 to 1947, who was born in Addison Township, Somerset County, Pa., died Wednesday, August 21, 2002, in James E. VanZandt Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Altoona, Pa. He is survived by three nieces: June Cuppett Bolivar of Greenville, Pa., Betty Wilkins Baer of Vandergrift, Pa., and Lois Greaves Kaufman of Addison, Pa.; and three nephews: Jack Wilkins of Addison, James Greaves of Pearland, Texas, and David Greaves of Washington, D.C.

Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Logan Place, Confluence, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, August 24, until 11 a.m.
