Alice Britko Kalich
Alice Britko Kalich, formerly of Marianna, Pa., passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 24, 2002, in Minnesota Masonic Assisted Living, Bloomington, Minnesota, short of her 83rd birthday. She was born November 4, 1919, in Cokeburg, Pa., daughter of Ernest Britko and Julia Tistan Britko.
After leaving Pennsylvania in 1980, she and her husband spent 10 years together in Spring Hill, Florida, after which she relocated to Edina, Minnesota.
She lived a very active retirement traveling.
Her husband, Andrew Joseph Kalich, died in 1990.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana and husband, Joseph J. Nemeth, of College Park, Maryland; her son, Ronald B. Kalich and wife, Marie Elena, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; as well as four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 30, in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Friends are invited to join with her Family for a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 28, in Highland Christian Church, Marianna, Pa.
She will be interred at her childhood church, Highland Christian Brethren, Marianna, Pa.
