Florence Clara Hixenbaugh Basinger, 83, of Connellsville, Pa., who was born in Mount Braddock, Fayette County, Pa., died Saturday, August 24, 2002, in H. C. Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. She is survived by four children: Rhoda Basinger Evans of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Wilson Basinger Jr. and wife, Marie, of Connellsville, Kenneth F. Basinger and wife, Connie, of Latrobe, Pa., and Cheryl Basinger Keslar and husband, Larry Keslar, of Acme, Pa.; grandchildren: Mike Evans, Jason Basinger, Gina Basinger, William John Basinger; four great granddaughters; sister, Martha Hixenbaugh Barcus of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brother, William Hixenbaugh and his wife, Mary Jo, of Chicago, Illinois; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 27, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
