Man arrested
Thomas W. Bradely, 38, of 59 Lemon Wood Acres, Uniontown, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Lenox Street at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, city police said.
He was arraigned by District Justice Mark Blair and released on a recognizance bond. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Monday.

Windshield smashed
State police said a concrete block was thrown through the windshield of a Connellsville Area School District truck Wednesday before 6:50 a.m. off Stadium Road.

Burglary investigated
State police said Donald Davis’ Route 981, Scottdale, home was broken into between 7 and 10 p.m. Aug. 19 and a safe containing cash, rare coins, baseball cards and documents was stolen.

State police said someone broke into a Christopher Loughner’s home, which he is building along Route 31 in Tarrs, and stole all the power tools, ladders and wiring supplies there Tuesday or Wednesday.

Woman cited
Nicole Linville, 23, of 226 Outcrop Road, Smithfield, was cited for public drunkenness Wednesday morning after she was allegedly found passed out in a yard at the intersection of Wayne and Madison streets, according to city police.

Saws, blades stolen
Leonard Springer of Jacob Street told city police Wednesday morning that a Craftsman circular saw in a red case, 12 blades and a Craftsman reciprocating saw were stolen from his shed.

Break-in reported
City police said every room in a house at 94 Belmont Circle appeared ransacked Wednesday afternoon.
A person who watched the house for the owner discovered the break-in and called police.
The owner will check for any missing property.

Two injured in crash
State police said Michael Tarasan Jr., 17, of Scottdale and James Hodder, 35, of North Versailles suffered minor injuries in a head-on collision Thursday at 4:50 p.m. on West Overton Road.

Leah Christine Holden of Connellsville told state police that cash was taken from her unlocked vehicle Wednesday morning along Breakneck Avenue.

James Robert Warnick of Connellsville was charged for allegedly pushing down and injuring Mildred Warnick at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday along Clair Street, Wheeler, state police said.

Woman arrested
State police said Patricia Louise Vanderbilt was charged with simple assault after a fight with her sister Susan Diane Beal, who suffered minor injuries, Aug. 5 in Hardy Hill.
Vanderbilt was arrested, arraigned and released on bond pending a preliminary hearing, police said.

Victor George Stickovich Jr. reported to state police the theft of an 18-horsepower Evinrude outboard boat motor from his front yard along Route 88 between Aug. 17 and 20.

Drug charges
Raymond Moore, 43, of 101 High St. and Michelle Michaux, 40, of 79 South Hills Terrace, both of Brownsville, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found them trespassing in St. Mary’s Cemetery at 11:34 p.m. Aug. 20, Brownsville police reported.
Both were arraigned before District Justice Mark Blair and released on $5,000 unsecured bond each.

Tractor stolen
State police said Joseph Anthony Davanzo of North Gallatin Avenue Extension reported that a John Deere lawn tractor was stolen from his shed Wednesday or Thursday.

Andrew French of 218 Brashear St. told Brownsville police the morning of Aug. 16 that someone stole $10 in cash and a Bell Atlantic cellular telephone valued at $150 from his vehicle at his residence overnight.

A thin white man, 6 feet tall or taller, robbed the Dollar General Store of $2,193 around 7:07 p.m. Aug. 18, police reported. The man was seen leaving the area in a white pickup truck. Redstone and Brownsville police responded to the call.

Charlene Voytovich of 62 South Hills Terrace told Brownsville police that someone stole an air conditioner, a 19-inch Sony TV/VCR combination, a treadmill and a Whirlpool dryer from her apartment while she was gone between Aug. 8 and Aug. 17. The items had a combined valued of $1,030.

Carl Yauger of 95 Park Ave. told city police that $300 worth of ice cream and half a case of beer were taken out of his ice cream truck while it was parked in his back yard Friday night.

Joe Ranker of Dunbar found a bicycle near the drive-in theater on Route 119 and turned it in to state police at 4 p.m. Friday. The owner can call the state police at 724-439-7111 to claim it.

John Stish, 41, of Daisytown was taken into custody for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order by entering the residence of Kathy Semshack, 40, of Beallsville at 5:45 p.m. Friday, said state police. Stish was arraigned and released on $2,500 unsecured bond, said police.

James Retucci, 43, of Millsboro told state police that the lower unit of a motor was stolen off a boat at Sunset Marina in Millsboro at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
