Thomas-Kromer
A wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, followed the marriage of JoAnn Kromer of East Millsboro and Gary Daniel Thomas of Brownsville. The Rev. Stephen Bugay performed the ceremony June 22 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Republic. A reception at the Hopwood Firemen’s Social Hall followed.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Linda Kromer of Factory Road, East Millsboro. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Bonnie Thomas of Angle Street, Brownsville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white silky satin with a sleeveless halter top. Alencon lace, sequins and pearls accented the bodice and straps and sweeping skirt accented with satin rosettes and leaves on back lace. A halo held a fingertip-length veil of illusion.
Maid of honor was Amy Kozub. Bridesmaids were Carrie Kromer, sister-in-law of the bride; Kristel Bosworth, sister of the bridegroom; Jessica Adams, Julie Kromer, niece of the bride; Rachel Rihaly, cousin of the bride. Kourtney Polvinale, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Best man was Terry Bosworth, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Ushers were Dwaine Kromer, Tom Kromer, brothers of the bride; Ray Brumley, Michael Bogorae and Joey Kromer, nephew of the bride. Zachary Kromer, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
The bride is a 1990 graduate of Brownsville Area High School with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She is employed with Communities in Schools at Uniontown Area High School.
The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Brownsville Area High School and attended California University and Penn State University. He is employed at Brownsville Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The newlyweds are residing at 515 Hopewell Road, East Millsboro.
