Janet M. Guthrie
Janet M. Guthrie, 62, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Saturday, August 24, 2002, at home with her family at her side. She was born September 9, 1939, in Elliottsville, Pa., daughter of the late Charles Riggin.
Janet was a loving Mother and Grandmother with a heart of Gold and will be missed greatly by all who knew her!
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Guthrie Sr., and a brother, Gerald R. Riggin Jr.
Surviving are these sons and daughters: Jack “Buck” Guthrie and wife, Debbie, of Farmington, Pa., Glenn Guthrie and wife, Cheryl, of McClellandtown, Pa., Terry Guthrie and wife, Robin, of Uniontown, Pa., Eric Guthrie and wife, Linda, of Smithfield, Pa., Charles Guthrie and wife, Megan, of Farmington, Pa., Jimmy Guthrie and wife, Billie Jo, of Mount Braddock, Pa., Jessie and husband, Marvin Skinner, Dorothy Guthrie with whom she resided, and Loretta Guthrie all of Farmington, Pa.; her 17 grandchildren; and a step-sister, Mildred Lininger of Uniontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, 1189 National Pike, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 28, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Vincent Cable officiating.
Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery, Elliottsville, Pa.
