Frantz-Kopec
Cristy Marie Kopec of Masontown and Kenneth Owen Frantz of Uniontown were united in marriage on May 25 in a nuptial Mass celebrated at All Saints R.C. Church, Masontown. The Rev. James F. Bump officiated the ceremony with the Rev. Paul Frank assisting.
The bride is the daughter of Lud and Terrie Kopec of Jefferson Avenue, Masontown, and granddaughter of Louis and Alfred Kopec, Alverda Krofchek and Nettie Sullenberger, all of Masontown.
The bridegroom is the son of Lyn and Doug Davis of Lincoln Street, Uniontown, and Dale and Mary Lou Frantz of Hopwood.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white two-piece gown. The off-the-shoulder satin bodice and chapel-length tulle skirt was embroidered with crystals, sequins and pearls. A crystal tiara held fingertip and cathedral-length veils.
Maid of honor was Melonie Miller. Bridesmaids were Sarah Magerko and Katie Magerko, cousins of the bride; Sarah Frantz, sister of the bridegroom; and Amy Kurzdorfer. Lauren Krofcheck, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Flower girl was Rachel Krofcheck, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Andrew Dougherty. Groomsmen were Gary Frantz, Zach Wilson, cousins of the bridegroom; Brian Kopec, brother of the bride; and Matthew Fisher. Junior groomsman was Paul Davis, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception was held in the Crystal Ballroom at Lakeside Party Center.
The bride is a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and California University of Pennsylvania. She is employed with the Albert Gallatin Area School District.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School, Thiel College and Chatham College. He is employed as a physical therapist at the Uniontown Hospital.
The couple honeymooned at Waikki and Mau, Hawaii.
