The holiday candlelight tour at the LeMoyne House, located at 49 E. Maiden St. in Washington, centers around the Christmas of 1900. Just around the corner from the LeMoyne House at 175 S. Main St., the historic Bradford House will depict the early 1700s. These neighboring historical landmarks in the City of Washington are again offering a combination price for their Christmas Candlelight tours. Adults can take in both tours for $8. Admission to one house is $5. Students can tour both houses for $4 or $3 per one house.

Both houses will be decorated for Christmas. Volunteers in period clothing will guide visitors through the candlelit rooms, helping to bring the history of the times vividly alive.

The candlelight tours are set for 5-9 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6, 7 and 8, and continue the following Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 14 and 15.

Each tour will take approximately one hour. Reservations are not required.

The “combo’ tickets may be bought at either site. The two different tours could be taken the same evening or on separate nights.

For more information about either tour or for detailed directions, call the Washington County Historical Society at 724-225-6740 or the Bradford House at 724-222-3604.
