Alfonzina (Florence) Delligatti
Alfonzina (Florence) Delligatti, 94, of Uniontown passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, in Beverly Healthcare, Uniontown. She was born October 24, 1908, in Prigano, Italy, the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Zammarella DeCongelio.
She was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Church in Uniontown and its Altar Society.
Survivors include a son, John Delligatti, and his wife, Lucy, of Delaware; four daughters, Mary Benver, Theresa DiMarco, Frances Bandzuch, all of Uniontown, and Catherine Delligatti Lupoi and her husband, Vince, of Wilmington, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Amato (Mike) Delligatti on January 16, 1963; three sisters, Pasqualina, Gelormia and Catherine Santangello; and two brothers, Louis and Angelo DeCongelio.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 3, 2002, until 9 a.m., at which time a blessing service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church at 9:30 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. An Altar Society Rosary will be held this evening at 7:30.
