Anna M. Burke
Anna Margaret Kerfoot Burke, 83, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday morning, Dec. 6, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born Dec. 4, 1919, in Grindstone, Pa., the daughter of the late William Lee Kerfoot and Florence Hannah Pizzano Kerfoot.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Burke Jr.; her brother, William Kerfoot Jr.; her sister, Louise Ashcraft; and a brother, Dean Kerfoot.
Anna was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Uniontown.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 59 years, Robert Harold Burke; her loving and devoted children, Dennis Burke and wife, Patsy of Seattle, Wash., Glenn Burke and wife, Carrie of Mount Braddock, Jeanine Wrona and husband, Timothy “Tim” of Uniontown; her daughter-in-law, Esther Burke of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Benn Burke, Justin Burke, Brian Burke, Brandon Burke, Bryce Burke and Christy Wrona; great-grandchildren, Micah Burke and Maxwell “Max” Burke; brothers and sisters, Genevieve Washabaugh of Chesapeake Bay “Beach”, Md., Richard Kerfoot of Meadville, Pa., Wilson Kerfoot of Uniontown, Wanda Bodkin of Uniontown, Jack Kerfoot of Las Vegas, Nev., and Bernard Kerfoot of Cleveland, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., UNIONTOWN, this morning from 9 to 11 a.m. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Frank officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. Interment for the family is private.
