Leota Zahand, 79, of Hutchinson, Kansas, formerly of California, Pa., died Friday, December 6, 2002. Surviving are her daughters, Elma Duda of Brownsville, Mary Stathers of Clinton, Md.; a granddaughter Leota Balchick of West Brownsville; a brother Harvey Riley of Kentucky; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, on Tuesday, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 11 a.m. the hour of service.
