Man severely injured

Christopher S. Roseman, no age or address given, remained hospitalized in Pittsburgh in critical condition Wednesday following a two-car accident Monday when he was ejected from his car and pinned underneath. State police in Uniontown said Roseman was traveling east on Braznell Road and Sandra L. Shumar, no age or address given, was westbound when they collided at 8 a.m. Roseman was ejected through the passenger-side front door and his leg was pinned under his car. He was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, while Shumar was transported to Brownsville Hospital with minor injuries.

Hit-and-run wreck

Jeremy Reda, 25, of Masontown and Aydra Keyton, 34, of McClellandtown were involved in an accident at 4:45 a.m. Nov. 30 along Footedale Road, state police said. Reda, who had a minor injury, and his passenger Kim Adams, 23, of Smithfield fled the scene on foot, but were apprehended later, police said. Bullskin Twp. Woman injured Lonnie G. Shipley, 29, of 125 Rose Road, Mount Pleasant, and Carrie A. Higbee, 31, of 615 Painter St., Everson, were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Route 982 at 5:20 p.m. Sunday, state police said. Higbee was transported to Frick Hospital with injuries.

Chain saw stolen

State police said someone broke into a garage owned by Albert A. Kennedy, 81, of Kennedy Hollow Road, Hopwood, on Dec. 2 or 3 and stole his Husqvarna 340 chainsaw. Damages to the garage door were estimated at $150. Jefferson Twp. School bus hit A 9-year-old female student was not hurt when the school bus she was in was hit in a three-vehicle collision at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Elliot and Brownsville roads. State police in Belle Vernon said bus driver Marvin L. Dickey of Grindstone stopped on Brownsville Road and was waiting for traffic to clear before turning on to Elliot Road. Keri Wardman of Brownsville stopped behind the bus, but then hit the bus after being hit by William Grass of Mount Braddock, police said. Wardman and Grass had minor injuries and their vehicles were towed from the scene with moderate damages. The bus had minor damage.

Vehicles struck

State police said Kris Michael Stile of Coal Center traveled off Old Pittsburgh Road and hit a 1987 Pontiac coupe, causing it to strike Jeep CJ7, before hitting a 1985 Buick Century and a tree at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 6. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Uniontown Minors cited Stephen Sawka II, 18, of Cramer Avenue, Uniontown, Joshua Lilley, 18, of Deep Creek Lake, Md., and William P. Hartley, 18, of Beeson Avenue, Uniontown, were cited for underage drinking . after they were found with beer in a car in the Uniontown Shopping Center lot at 3:57 a.m. Wednesday, city police said.
