On Sunday at approximately 7 a.m., an overhead utility line will be installed near the South Junction of I-70 at the intersection with I-79, the report said. The installation is expected to last about 15 minutes. On Monday, an additional overhead utility line will be installed over I-79 between the Southpointe and Canonsburg exits at 10 a.m., according to the report. PennDOT also said that the state police would be on hand to assist with traffic. Caution urged Motorists, who travel along Route 88 in Dry Tavern, Greene County, will have to travel with a little extra caution this Friday as PennDOT plans to activate two new traffic signals in the area, a PennDOT traffic advisory said. The signals, which are located at the intersections of Route 88 and Jefferson Road and Route 88 and Ferncliff Road will be activated at noon Friday and will operate in a “flash mode” until they are placed on normal operation during the week of Dec. 15, the report said. Motorists are asked to proceed travel with caution.
