Margaret E. Ilcin Micklus, 96, of Connellsville, Pa., died Monday, December 9, 2002, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born November 4, 1906, in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Frank Ilcin and Anna Saksa Ilcin.

Margaret was longtime member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

She graduated from Connellsville High School Class of 1925.

Margaret was a loving Homemaker, great Cook, huge Pirates and Steelers fan, and an avid card player who enjoyed many games at the Connellsville Senior Center.

Her husband, Andrew A. Micklus, died February 28, 1972. Also deceased are a brother, Andrew Ilcin, two sisters, Anna Simko and Sophia Novasky, and her parents. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcella A. Micklus Lally and her husband, Frank C. Lally, of Uniontown, Pa.; two granddaughters: Cynthia A. and her husband, James Flick, of Cambridge Springs, Pa., and Lisa L. Lancaster of Venango, Pa.; three great grandchildren: Blake Garrett Flick, Haley Margaret Flick, and Mackenzie Nicolle Lancaster; also many nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., today, December 12, until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with Rev. Fr. John A. Butler as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425 in memory of Margaret E. Hein Micklus.

Visitation was also held Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and a Parish Wake Service was held at 5 p.m.
