Violet M. Nenni Rantovich Kott
Violet M. Nenni Rantovich Kott, 81, of Masontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2002 in Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown.
She was born December 23, 1920 in Glen Lyon, Pa., daughter of Ruggiero Nenni and Irma Mangini Nenni.
Violet was a devoted member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church.
She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, and cherished her Family above all else!
Her exceptional craft work, baking, and the memories of many happy times made “Home” a very special place to be. Although she will be sadly missed, her memory warms our souls and consoles our hearts.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, second husband, Alexander Kott in 1973, and two sisters, infant Esther Nenni and Esther Benucci.
Surviving are two sons: George Rantovich and wife, Sandy, of Masontown, Pa., and Roger Rantovich and dear friend, Regina Sloan, of Uniontown, Pa.; two grandsons: Scott Rantovich and wife, Dedra, of McMurray Pa., and Ryan Rantovich of Masontown, Pa.; two great granddaughters: Kara Rantovich and Kendall Rantovich both of McMurray, Pa.; a brother, Roger Nenni and wife, Irene, of Scranton, Pa.; three sisters: Irma Berkshire of Masontown, Pa., Pauline Sutton of Falls Church, Virginia, and Barbara Annunzi and husband, Ralph, of Fairfax, Virginia; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 14, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with Rev. Fr. James F. Bump as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.
