Charles R. Cook, 70, of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday, December 13, 2002 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born June 22, 1932 in Shady Grove, Fayette County, Pa.

Mr. Cook attended The Church of God and was formerly employed at Cabot Tire Company and also Laurel Highlands Tire.

Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Janie Cook, his wife, Maryann Ruth Handlin Cook, and a sister, Doris Lynch.

Surviving are two daughters, Catherine Cook and Janie Cook, both of Uniontown and two grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 17, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Elliott C. Leighty officiating.

Interment will be in Percy Cemetery.
