Katherine H. Jacobson
Katherine Holub Jacobson, 94, of 410 Terrace Drive, Uniontown, PA 15401 and a former resident of Sharon, Pa., died Thursday, December 12, 2002 at 1:28 p.m. in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown. She was born November 15, 1908 in Sharon, Pa, daughter of George Holub and Martha Virostick Holub.
She had been employed as a Clerk at Sharon Store, Sharon, Pa., and also at Guys and Dolls Children’s Shop in Hermitage, Pa., and American Laundry in Sharon.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Sharon, the Senior Church Club, and the North Sharon Volunteer Fireman’s Auxiliary.
On November 209, 1928 she married John B. Jacobson. He died March 6, 1962. Also deceased are her parents, two sisters, Mary Freeburg and Anna Ristvey, and a brother, Michael Holub.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Marthann) McKee of Hopwood, Pa.; two sons: (John) David Jacobson of Overland park, Kansas, and Timothy S. Jacobson of Gig Harbor, Washington; two sisters: Mrs. Robert (Helen) Charles of Greenville, Pa., and Mrs. Bruce (Martha) Ledden of Sharpsville, Pa.; a brother, Nickolas Holub and his wife, Barbara, of Sharon, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be said Monday, December 16, at 10 a.m. in St. Rose Cemetery Chapel, Hermitage, with Rev. Fr. Mark Stockton of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Sharon as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
