Billy Williams, age 57, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, December 4, 2002 in Maryland. He was born March 13, 1944 in Uniontown, Pa., son of John Williams and Alice Henderson Williams.

He was Director of the Music Department and Choirs for his Church, Edgewood Baptist, where he had been a member for over 30 years.

Billy was predeceased by his parents, one brother, John “Buddy” Williams, and two sisters, Shirley Palmer and Eleanor “Tootsie” Williams.

Surviving are two sisters: Betty Jean Walker and husband, Rudy, and Linda Williams, all of Uniontown, Pa.; one brother, James Williams of Sacramento, California; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, December 14, from Edgewood Baptist Church, Washington, D.C.

Friends are invited to join with the Family for a Celebration of his Life which will be held in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, December 18, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
