Marie P. James Adams, 93, of Warren, Ohio, and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2002 in Trumball Forum Health Court in Warren, Ohio. She was born March 17, 1909 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of William and Jennie (Cosgrove) James.

Marie was a member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Warren, Ohio, and a former member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.

She enjoyed reading and sewing.

Her husband, Cecil R. Adams, died December 3, 1982. Also deceased are one son, Robert Adams, three sisters, six brothers, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma “Jean” Behary of Warren, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Joanne Adams of New Salem, Pa; two sisters: Madeline Galmish of Warren, Ohio, and Margaret Petko of Miskawaka, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, December 19, until 11:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. William J. Kiel officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
