Viola Yager Britvich, 78, of Greenville, Pa., and formerly of Denbo, Vesta 6, Pa., passed away on Monday, December 16, 2002 in UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pa. She was born March 5, 1924 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, daughter of John Yager and Cecelia Hedagus Yager.

Mrs. Britvich was a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown, Pa.

Her husband, Michael R. Britvich, two sisters, Margaret Yager and Mary Yager Sawyer, and parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Michael “Mickey” Britvich and his wife, Kathy, and one grandson, Michael Britvich, all of Hadley, Pa.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Thursday, December 19, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 4 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Paul J. Grunebach officiating.

Private interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
