Claudia R. Dantzler Brown, age 73, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and formerly of Footedale, Pa., passed away Sunday, December 15, 2002 while attending Mass. She was born May 29, 1929 in Lamberton, Pa., daughter of Henry Lucius Dantzler Sr. and Willie Maude Foster Dantzler.

Claudia was a graduate of German Township High School, McClellandtown, Pa., and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in North Carolina.

She was predeceased by her parents, one brother, Henry L. Dantzler Jr., and one sister, Thelma Mifflin.

Surviving is her husband, Frank E. Brown, whom she married in 1950; two children: Bertrand Brown of North Carolina and Valerie Brown Jones of Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren: Christopher, Nicole, William, Zachary, and Claudia Jones; sisters and brothers: Anna Belle Calloway Cooper, Los Angeles, California, Nathaniel “Jake” Dantzler and wife, Eary, of Uniontown, Pa., Charles “Chink” Dantzler and wife, Laura, of Buffington, Pa., Eleanor “Punchy” Prado of New York City, New York, Rev. Howard E. Dantzler and wife, Dorothy, of Smithfield, Pa., Frederick Dantzler of Footedale, Pa., and Dolores Dantzler-Wolf of Fayetteville, North Carolina; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her church, Saint Ann Catholic Church, in North Carolina on Saturday, December 21, at 11 a.m.
