Donald Joseph Bell
Donald Joseph Bell of 254 Clover Street, Brownsville, Pa., and formerly of Mount Pleasant, Pa., died at 6:05 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in his residence. He was born August 18, 1921, son of William J. Bell and Lucy Wax Bell.
Donald was a Veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army.
On January 2, 1946 he married Dorothy Dickinson Bell, with whom he celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Also surviving are three sons: Donald W. “Winky” Bell and his wife, Theresa, George A. Bell and his wife, Marilyn, and Ralph E. “Joe” Bell and his wife, Reese, all of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one daughter, Carlene L. “Lovie” Bell Aldridge of Brownsville, Pa.; one brother, Homer Bell, and two sisters, Beatrice Bell and Mary Louise Bell, all of Norristown, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to join with Donald’s Family for a Memorial Service which will be held in Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, 214 Cadwallader Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Sunday, December 22, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Carl Kemp will officiate.
Interment will be private.
