UNITED MINE WORKERS OF AMERICA Local Union 1248 will meet at 10 .m. Saturday at the Footedale fire hall. FAYETTE COUNTY TEAM PA CAREERLINK, 32 Iowa St., Uniontown, will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1 in observance of the holidays.
LEGION CLUB of Uniontown is accepting regular and social dues. Only a limited number of social dues applications are available. Also, the Sons of American Legion dues are now payable.
UNIONTOWN SENIOR CITIZENS monthly dance, Silver Bells, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday at the Uniontown VFW Post 47 Hall, West Main Street. Dave Dahl’s orchestra will provide music for all dancing. Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.
