Estella D. Skurska Vodney, 88, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Footedale, Pa. passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2002 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born May 8, 1914 in Footedale, Pa., daughter of the late John and Katherine Smith Skurska.

Mrs. Vodney was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.

Her husband, William Vodney Sr., died in 1982.

She is survived by one son, William Vodney Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Monroe Falls, Ohio; a grandson, William Vodney III; a granddaughter, Deborah Vasbinder; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Constance Giachetti and her husband, Ernest, of Uniontown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 21, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Patrick O’Connor as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
