Police probe home-invasion shooting of Pittsburgh man
A Pittsburgh man is hospitalized in stable condition with multiple gunshot wounds he suffered in what Uniontown police described as a home invasion robbery Wednesday night at 6 Wilson Ave. Clinton Cohen, 22, of 3200 Camp St., Pittsburgh, was found in the second-floor bathroom of the house at 10:25 p.m., police said.
He is being treated in an undisclosed Pittsburgh hospital.
Police said the suspect entered through a door on the north side of the house and began firing shots.
The suspect is a black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and very light complexion.
Police Chief Kyle Sneddon said additional interviews with the victim are needed, but officers already have suspects.
“We have developed suspects in this case, and we’re optimistic about an arrest,” Sneddon said.
He said robbery was the apparent motive.
