Dolores Romaine Brayo “Sis” Bertovich

Dolores Romaine Brayo “Sis” Bertovich of Smock, Pa., passed away at the age of 73 on Thursday, December 19, 2002 in her home.

She was born September 23, 1929 in Rowes Run, Pa., the daughter of Andrew Brayo and Katherine Trout Brayo.

“Sis” was an employee of Perma Cote Plastics Industries in Uniontown, Pa., for 25 years until she retired at the age of 70.

She was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Smock.

Her infant brother, Charles, her infant sister, Barbara, and parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Tony Bertovich, whom she married on October 21, 1950; her loving children: Tony Bertovich and wife, Kathy, of Waynesburg, Pa., Debi Bertovich Snyder and fiance, Jim Hornbeck, of Donora, Pa., Denise Romaine Bertovich Kaydo and her husband, Max Kaydo, of New Salem, Pa., Mark Andrew Bertovich and wife, Bonita, of Richmond, Virginia, Tammy Lloyd and husband, Bobby, of Uniontown, Pa.; grandchildren whom she adored: Kristan Bertovich, Lauren Bertovich and A. J. Bertovich, Rachel Lea Snyder, Max A. Kaydo, Eric Bertovich and Brianna Bertovich, Kelly Lloyd, Stacy Lloyd and Bradley Lloyd; three brothers: Harold Brayo of Alverton, Pa., Raymond Brayo of Stow, Ohio, and Robert Brayo of Mount Pleasant, Pa.

“Sis” loved her Family, especially her grandchildren! She enjoyed her precious time with her Family at the beach. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo with her Friends. She will always be loved and cherished through many happy, loving memories!

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, December 23, until 9 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Smock, with Rev. Fr. John A. Sedlak as Celebrant.

Interment will be private.

The Rosary Confraternity will recite the Partner Parish Rosary today at 7 p.m.

Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 8 p.m.
