Uniontown Purse stolen

Laura Wilson told city police that her purse was stolen from her car in the driveway of her 321 W. Berkeley St. home at 12:45 a.m. Friday.

The purse contained her paycheck, checkbook, driver’s license and other documents.

City police said pop machines at C&C Tire at 247 E. Main St. and another at 350 E. Main St. were broken into Friday between 5 and 5:30 a.m.

James Joseph Prah of 120 Tent Church Road told state police Thursday his shed had been broken into and a battery charger and flashlight were stolen.

Shawna Lynn Powell of Old Route 119 told state police someone broke into her residence between Monday and Thursday and stole two videocassette recorders, a stereo and stamp machine.

State police said someone broke into the house of Michael James Wystepek, 25, of Vanderbilt and stole a gold bracelet, Sony PlayStation, digital video discs, a Smock Volunteer Fire Department badge, mountain bike, volunteer fire department revolving blue light, tool box and tools between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday.

Vehicle stolen

Roger Dale Hall of 76 Railroad St., Dunbar, reported to state police the theft of a red Honda 300 4-Track ATV from his residence at 210 Buena Vista Road between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

State police at Waynesburg said someone broke into the residence of Cecil Boone, 62, of Mount Morris around 3 p.m. Wednesday and stole a circular saw and crowbar.

State police said someone broke a window at the Dilliner Convenience Store around 3:20 a.m. Dec. 13 but fled the scene when the alarm activated.

Boys cited

Two 12-year-old boys were cited for criminal mischief after they damaged an inflatable snowman with a knife in front of Bridge Street Commons on Dec. 15, state police at Waynesburg said.

Woman charged

State police Tuesday charged Linda Lee Wolfe, 47, Dilliner, with aggravated assault, simple assault and making terroristic threats after she allegedly called the police, threatened to kill her husband, Delbert Lee Wolfe, 48, and cut him with a knife.

She was arraigned before District Justice Neil Canan, who set bail at $5,000.

Woman arrested

Nina Marie Jamison, 25, of Carmichaels was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with simple assault and harassment after she allegedly struck David Earl Jamison, 34, Carmichaels in the head and arm with a bag containing metal pieces to a vehicle tire jack, state police said.

She was arraigned before District Justice Neil Canan and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
