Thomas Bernard Bock Sr.
Thomas Bernard Bock Sr., age 71, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 19, 2002 at his residence.
He was born November 2, 1931 in Brownsville, Pa., son of John Bock and Anna Stach Bock.
Tom was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, and retired from Bethlehem Mines.
On November 3, 1963, he married Janice Fisher Bock, with whom he celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Al Bock, and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Fisher Bock; three Children: Debbie and her husband Bill Davis, Denise and her husband Jeff Shaw, and Thomas Bock II; Grandchildren: Brandon Bock, Taylor David, Nicholas Davis, Derek Shaw, Kayla Shaw, Brooke Shaw; Sister, Betty Herbert; and Sister-in-law, Susie Fisher.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, December 23, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.
