Franklin F. Eckels, 88, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, December 21, 2002, in Harmon House Convalescent Home, Mount Pleasant. He is survived by his wife, Erma E. Smith Eckels; two sons, Dr. Dennis L. Eckels of Fairfield Township and District Justice Roger F. Eckels of Mount Pleasant; one daughter, Mrs. John (Sandra L.) Atkins of St. Paris, Ohio; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Eckels of Ligonier; and one sister, Mrs. Bill (Donna) Gautier of Salem, Va.

Friends will be received at Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., 730 W. Main St., Mount Pleasant, today until 10 a.m.

Emma G. Lopes

Emma G. Lopes, 81, of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, December 22, 2002, at her residence.

She is survived by one son, Louis Lopes Jr. of Fredericksburg, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. Tim (Vicki) McKula of Acme; six grandchildren; one brother, Richard Ahlborn of Acme RD 1, and three sisters, Laura Myers, Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Lessman and Gertrude Brown, all of Mount Pleasant.

Friends will be received at Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., 730 W. Main St., Mount Pleasant, today from 2 to 4 and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. (No Visitation Wednesday.)

Frank F. Moore III, 49, of Scottdale, died Friday, December 20, 2002, at his residence.

Two sisters survive him, Mrs. Jack (Sharon L.) Hepler of Smithton and Mrs. Ben (Jennie Allen) of Silver Spring, Md.
