Anna Snyder Bobak

Anna J. Snyder Bobak, 83, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2002 in Brownsville General Hospital. She was born March 19, 1919 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of the Andrew Snyder and Amelia Saltrick Snyder.

Anna was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown, St. Joseph’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and Senior Citizens of Masontown.

Her husband, Frank Bobak, three brothers, Andrew, Ronald and Louis Snyder, a nephew, Andrew Snyder, and parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her five sisters: Elizabeth Snyder of Uniontown, Amelia Novak of Bobtown, Pa., Gertrude Pensock of Brook Park, Ohio, Dorothy Kashary and husband, Ed, of Brooklyn, Ohio, and Ruth Skobel of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, William Snyder of Milton Hills, New Hampshire; a sister-in-law, Ann Sereney; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, December 27, until 9:30 a.m. when prayers will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Micah E. Koziel as Celebrant.

Interment to follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Uniontown.
