Dorothy B. (Barnhart) Richnafsky, 85, of Gates, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at her home. She was born on December 30, 1916, in Gates, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of George B. Barnhart and Jessie King Barnhart.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, McClellandtown, Pa., and had been employed with Gates Supply Store where she was a Clerk for many years.

She was an avid bingo player who loved her independence.

Her husband, Andrew Richnafsky Sr., her parents, and many dear brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving are her son, Andrew Richnafsky Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, of Masontown, Pa.; a granddaughter, Elissa Armstrong; two great granddaughters: Briannah Armstrong and Kaitlyn Armstrong; a sister, Betty Lavery of Masontown, Pa.; many nieces and nephews; and a close friend and neighbor, Mrs. Anna Borek of Gates.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, December 28, (time will be announced).

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
