James Douglas “Corn” Glover, 54, of McClellandtown, Pa., died peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1948 in Uniontown, Pa., and raised in Revere, Pa., son of Chester Glover and Faye (Divilbliss) Glover.

James was affectionately known by his family and friends as “Corn”.

He was a graduate of South Union Township High School Class of 1967 and retired from United States Steel Corporation’s Clairton Works where he was a Steel Worker for 31 years.

He loved his Family and many Friends, enjoyed laughter and the lighter side of life.

His parents and two nephews, Michael Muha and Richard Glover, preceded him in death.

Surviving are three children: Brian T. Glover and his girlfriend, Marlene Vignali, of Masontown, Pa., Jason E. Glover and wife, Christie, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Amy L. (Glover) Clark and husband, Patrick, of Balsinger, Pa.; three grandchildren whom he cherished: Kaycee Clark and Jonathan Clark of both Balsinger and Kirkland Glover of Chesapeake, Virginia; a sister, Barbara (Glover) Muha and husband, Jacob, of Revere, Pa.; five brothers: Howard “Sam” Collands and wife, Davadene, and Daniel “Tucker” Glover and wife, Linda, all of Revere, Pa., Richard Glover and wife, Susan, of McClellandtown, Pa., Jeffery “Jake” Glover and David Glover both of Revere, Pa.; and many special nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 29, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Dale E. Sickles officiating.

Interment will be private.
