Marcella Corbin Lyons, 70, of Hunker, Pa., and formerly of Point Marion, Pa., died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at her home Born November 13, 1932 in Nilan, Pa., she was a daughter of Ray Corbin and Gladys Menear Corbin Travis.

She was active in Calvary Baptist Church in New Stanton where she helped with the youth groups.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Jesse J. Lyons, on January 8, 1999, two brothers, Eugene Corbin and Robert Travis, and parents.

She is survived by her three children: Robert L. Lyons of Smithfield, Pa., Thomas A. Lyons of Dravosburg, Pa., and Barbara K. Markle of Hunker; four grandchildren: Christina Bemis, Bobbi Lyons, Britney Lyons and Joshua Lyons; a great granddaughter, Ashley Bemis; brother, Marvin “Buck Travis of Levittown, Pa.; three sisters: Joann Dingle and Anna Mae Weber both of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Nancy Travis of Point Marion; sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty and Morris Blosser of Stewartstown, West Virginia, and Kay and Ben Dickens of Huntington, West Virginia.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa., on Saturday, December 28, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Kenneth Brougham officiating.

Interment follows in Mountain View Cemetery, Stewartstown, West Virginia.
