Margaret Hanzes Senky
Margaret Hanzes Senky, age 81, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, December 23, 2002 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born July 6, 1921 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kish) Hanzes.
Margaret was a lifelong member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Senky Jr. in 1997, six brothers, one sister, and her parents.
She is survived by five children: Joseph L. Senky and wife, Marilynn, of Uniontown, Pa., Bernard R. Senky at home, Ruth Senky Stern and husband, Sheldon, of Irving, Texas, Patricia Senky Shelley of San Antonio, Texas, Judith Senky Guidas and husband, Frank, of Montgomery, Alabama; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters: Sister Mary Geneiosa of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rose Claya of Royal Oak, Michigan, and Irene Filiaggi of Uniontown, Pa.; and a brother, John Hanzes of Napa, California.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 9:30 a.m., when a blessing service will be held.
A Mass of Christian burial follows at 10 a.m., in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, with the Rev. Fr. Micah E. Kozoil as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Uniontown.
