Joshua J. Brady Sr.
Joshua J. Brady Sr., 85, of Uniontown, Pa., passed peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at his residence. He was born on December 31, 1916 in Brier Hill, Pa., a son of John and Fannie (Keffer) Brady.
Joshua was a member of New Life Free Methodist Church in Smock, Pa.
He was a Steel Worker at United State Steel Corporation’s Duquesne Works, and a member of United Mine Workers of America and also United Steel Workers of America.
He loved his dogs and he also loved to travel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lulu Belle Gordon Brady in 1999, a daughter, Donna Lou Brady, a brother, John Brady, an infant brother, Jasper Brady, five sisters, Irene Crable, Isabella Trocheck, Edna Hall, Alice Thorpe, Dorothy Evans, and his parents.
He is survived by his five children: Joshua J. Brady Jr. and wife, Bonita Kay, and John W. Brady and wife, Marjorie A., of Flint, Michigan, Ronald E. Brady and wife, Susan Sumego, of Fairchance, Pa., Patricia J. Noga and her husband, Gary J., of Uniontown Pa., and Jacqueline J. Campbell and husband, Harry C., of McClellandtown, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Raymond of Oliphant, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Viewing will be held in New Life Free Methodist Church, 2730 Pittsburgh Street, Smock, Pa., on Tuesday, December 31, from 10 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m. Pastor Kenneth A. Walls will officiate.
Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
